Why is it that college education is a necessity to be seen as an adult in American life. The reason why I ask that is because at a community college, you find people that you don't have anything in common with versus a university. The reason that I am saying is because at a community college, the intent is real. We all want to further our education. However, at a university, people attend because that is considered the norm. In my opinion, I feel that some are not truly interested in furthering education. I find it odd when I look around in my classroom and see students my age and can't help but wonder what brought us here, what we have in common, and what we hope to obtain by coming to Front Range Community College.
